Jimmy Eat World was the first full-length release by the band Jimmy Eat World. It was released in 1994 on Wooden Blue Records. Tom Linton sings lead on most of the songs on this album. The one song on this album that is sung by current primary vocalist Jim Adkins is "Usery". Jimmy Eat World is currently out of print.

Clarity is the third album by Jimmy Eat World. As with their previous release, Static Prevails, this album was produced by both Mark Trombino and Jimmy Eat World themselves. It, along with Static Prevails, was re-released in 2007 in remastered form with bonus tracks.

Bleed American is the fourth album by Jimmy Eat World. It was released on July 24, 2001, and became self-titled following the September 11, 2001 attacks. The album was produced by Mark Trombino, who previously produced blink-182's first major label album Dude Ranch. The album artwork is taken from William Eggleston's photograph "Memphis." Futures is the fifth studio album by Jimmy Eat World. It was released on October 19, 2004. Darker in tone than Bleed American, Futures was led by the successful single "Pain" followed by "Work" and the less successful "Futures" which did not receive as much airplay.The album has sold 607,000 in the United States making it Gold Status there.

Chase This Light albums is Jimmy Eat World's sixth studio album, and was released on October 16, 2007. The album was produced by Butch Vig, whose previous works include Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth, and Against Me!.On September 7, 2007, un-mastered demos of the album were leaked onto the Internet, while the full album was leaked on September 29, 2007.The album debuted at number five on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 62,000 copies in its first week.However, the album didnt hold, it fell to #38 on its second week with 18,000 copies.
